180$ for what's essentially some Made in China plastic and cardboard tat... There's maybe 20-30$-worth of merchandise in there, if that. No wonder all those so-called "collector's editions" keep pouring in, some folks must be laughing all the way to the bank.
With Guerilla Games Head Honcho as President of Sony Worldwide Studios, we should be in for a serious upping of the ante in terms of graphical fidelity in PS exclusives. Well, I don't know what kind of leeway they're given in that position, but if they have any say in the graphics department, with Mr Hulst you can bet it's gonna be about pushing the envelope right up to the point where it absolutely can't be pushed any further, just like what he and his team are used to doing ...
I also long for an interview with the people in charge of developping those beyond ridiculously inane FW updates, but I know damn well that they wouldn't be able to talk about what's really behind that same old drivel that calls for all the jokes above, which is plenty of anti-piracy measures hidden behind a curtain that reads "This update improves the system's stability". Let's be for real, even the folks at Sony ought to be aware of the fact that divulging that the...
We always knew such a huge project wasn't being developped solely with the PS4 in mind. Of course PC and Xbox One will get it at some point later. But it's crazy to see the number of "fake" exclusives this gen, including on the PS4. Seems to me the PS3 had way more exclusives. And also the PS2. And the PS1.
I've been one of their best customer for 25 years now, and I didn't receive an e-mail for a free Xmas dynamic theme either this year or last year... Thanks Sony...
Although I've got to say, I did receive vouchers twice (respectively 10$ and 20$) years ago, but I always saw them too late and they could never be registered and turned into sweet gifts, which is a huge bummer for me still to this day. What's the point in having an expiration date for those anyway, wtf.

That would still be the early access though, not the full game...
I still can't believe that PS2 port of the Fist of the North Star fighting game was never released outside Japan. The original arcade game is so hard to emulate, man. It's an Arc System Works game, usually they always get a release in the west, why not this particular one? If only someone could come up with a PS4 port, even digital-only, I'd buy this without batting an eye.
Is there any chance that could mean that the actual game is finally going to release anytime soon? Cause, I love Media Molecule for creating LittleBigPlanet, but they initially revealed DREAMS during that special event in NYC where the PS4 was announced, that was in February 2013 FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. It's been well over 6 years, almost 7!!!
Same here, but withe nostalgia glasses removed I'd say it's a close tie with the PS3 startup sound. Something yet again the PS4 wasn't endowed with btw... *sigh*
I don't know who designed the software running the PS4, but the least I can say is that it's not top-notch work. At this point I think I've probably experienced even more CE-36329-3 errors in 3 years using my PS4 PRO than the total number of BSODs I've had using Windows in 20 years. I even once turned the thing on only to discover that my main account had disappeared completely, along with the save files. This is in addition to all those underwhelming firmware updates, the lac...
Dunno about that, but I just heard about some russion bloke who's apparently an insider that MS's next Xbox would be endowed with smthg called "RDNA2", which supposedly offers up to 20-30% extra flops compared to the "RDNA1" the PS5 is said to feature. I'm kinda surprised this hasn't made it to the top news on N4G...
Nemesis was made even more scary with the way it appeared (like from a belfry in flames or in cramped spaces where you definitely didn't expect to run into him), and above all with the minimalistic yet chillingly unease-inducing music that accompanied his lurking around. Whenever you were in a "safe room" but didn't hear the soothing tune but those low-frequency strings, you knew you were in for some spasmatic chase in the derelict streets of Raccoon City when you got out, l...
Please be released this december 2019, right before Christmas
Yeah, it looks kinda crushed and knocked to the side, like caught beneath that skin wrap or smthg that was like added in haste so it could be sent ASAP to RC to deal with the STARS. It's genuinely freaking sick. I didn't expect such a radical design. But it does seem to be faithful to the original material at the same time.
The completely uncensored version for Japan. Probably equivalent to the version we'll get in the west.
Except now we also need a new remake of RE1, that 2002 Gamecube remake ain't gonna cut it anymore, for the sake of continuation graphics-wise and controls-wise.
Yeah, she looks like Natalie Portman, doesn't she?
Sly Capcom, they had been working on it all along. Probably at the same time as Resident Evil 2 Remake, or right after it.
OMG, the Nemesis! Have you guys seen it?! It's terrifying! Dammit, I can't wait for it!!!
They're both great, but while the map in Assassin's Creed Origins is huge (and beautiful to look at and filled with plenty of things to see and do), the size of Assassin's Creed Odyssey's map is absolutely gigantic (and also beautiful to look at and filled with plenty of things to see and do).
I'd say, pick Assassin's Creed Origins if you're interested in Ancient Egypt and its mythology or Assassin's Creed Odyssey if you're more into Anci...
Well, at least it's a well written article, with solid points to back up its low score. I kinda expected more scores like this one coming from the press in the US, actually. The japanese press is behind Kojima (of course), and it's more of a tie in the european press, continental Europe being (as always) more in favor of a Kojima game or any other japanese game than the british press.
I always knew this game was going to be a love it or hate it thing, to the point ...
